A verbal group game for any number of players. Also known as sausages, boloney, or knickers.
With bananas, a smile on the face is guaranteed even when you lose.
The object is to avoid laughing when answering questions with a ridiculous word, such as “bananas”.
One or more players are chosen to ask other players random questions in turn. Whatever the question, it must be answered by the chosen word(s), e.g. “bananas”.
Whoever laughs before, while or immediately after giving the correct response loses a life or is out of the game – depending on the rules determined by the group.
The chosen answer can be a single word, a phrase or even a proper noun – up to you.
When the “answer” tends to lose its flavor, it is advisable to choose a new one.
The game continues with the new questions, the last player standing is the winner.
